Gabriel’s passage for August 29 – September 4, 2016: when life goes slow, connect the dots

This week won‘t be a fast one – things will get delayed and this will leave us feeling stressed and uneasy. That’s because our ego with its very strict ideas on how things should look like, how they should proceed and when, will get in out way.

We need to realize that we never stick fully to the facts; everything in our perception, facts included, is mere interpretation based on our expectations, fears and desires. Instead of the complete reality we see just a little slice, that is important to us at the moment – and if it is not exactly as expected, we experience uneasiness and pain.

To get rid of discomfort, let us enter situations without expectations. Without expectations,  we may see possibilities that would otherwise go unnoticed. And if we do not stress, we may turn possibilities into opportunities and realities that might delight and enachant us eventually.

This week, let‘s connect the dots – even those that appear unrelated. Everything in the world is interconnected. Every action causes a reaction. Don‘t go after exact manifestation of your desires, but put the crumbs together into a bigger whole that will satisfy us. Sometimes, it‘s crumbs time, sometimes, it’s pie time. But without the crumbs, there‘d be no pie in the end, so finally,  let‘s pay them the attention they deserve.

Do not forget: we see what we put our eyes on.
